Here is a picture of my favourite boy in the world and my favourite dog. Alexander (my grandson) came over for a visit last night and May May just loves him, so do I. I am going to miss him, he is leaving in two weeks to go to B.C. for a whole year to stay with his dad and younger sisters.  Posted by Hello

Another shot of the guards at Parliament Hill today, I just can't even imagine how hot they are in those outfits.Right now the humidex is at 31 C and it is not even eleven o'clock. Posted by Hello

After BReakfast today Alexander and I went up to the hill, we got there just in time to see the changing of the guard. We didn't stay long though it was so hot, and it was only ten in the morning. Going to be a hot one today. Posted by Hello

May May met a new friend at the park the other day, we had a hard time getting them together to take their picture. Great work. Posted by Hello

Look at cokette! She loves kittens! Very unusual. She barked and barked to have the kitten put down to her level, I think she should have her own one at home. So sweet. Posted by Hello

This gentleman got a big surprise tonight, his wife went out and bought a new kitten without telling him. He took it ok, a bit surprised. This picture turned out just great. Hope the supper was good!!! Posted by Hello

Did anyone know that May May is a chess champion? Here she stops to give advice to two guys in the park. The guy in the black hat was losing and May May told him it was an unlucky seat, so the next set he changed seats, we never did check back to see if he won. Thanks guys! Posted by Hello

A poor lost purple teddy bear. He came in with a little girl all dressed in purple even a purple dress, guess she got so busy playing she forgot him. Poor teddy bear will be so lonesome without the little girl. Posted by Hello

No Pictures today

Figured out what was wrong with my camera, the batteries were dying. I went into The Source (formerly known as Radio Shack) to buy some rechargable batteries and by the time I got back to my wheelchair someone had stole the bag off of the bag. It is a big blue denim bag, plain on one side with a great big snowman painted on the reverse. Hope who ever took it enjoys one of my original paintings, I just can't imagine any one being that low to steal from anyone in a wheelchair. I am very disappointed with people right now. Luckily for me I had cleaned it out the day before and the only thing of value in it is my ripping rain cape. The real reason it is valuable is because it is a Mary Quant original. I suppose not too many people know who she is but she was from England and was the inventor of the mini skirt! Only important to people who grew up in the 60's, I suspect. Well going to rest up and get over my dissapointment and be ready for another day tomorrow.

Two girls selling CBC merchandise on the mall I think if they kept May May with them their sells would probably go up as people come over to pet her. I went on the tour of CBC, luckily for me it was before the Open House tours because that was way too croweded. One of my friends had just started as tour guide and invited a few of her friends to come on a practice tour to make sure she had things under control. Thanks again Dima, I really loved the tour. So everyone if you get a chance to go on one I am positive you would would enjoy it. Posted by Hello

Whats on at city hall

Went to city hall this morning to check out the map display that they have on the development of Ottawa. It was very interesting going all the way back to the early 1900 hundred's where they were planning the first suburbs of Ottawa. The only problem is they have it in an art gallery setting with indirect lighting and I guess my eyes are getting old and I look at them from a different angle because of the wheel chair, because I find reading and looking at all the maps very difficult but I advise anyone with a fondness of the history of Ottawa to go and check it out. Also while I was there I seen Roger's setting up to tape a tv show, I took a picture of it but it was all fuzzy as well as the picture I took of some statues in there. I will try and go back and take them again when I am in that general direction. So Mark do you think I do enough, the last 8 shots were all done before noon today! I had an appt. with my doctor today and he asked if I was keeping busy. I must save up to buy more memory, this one only holds ten photos and some days I can use that up in half an hour.

Protestors from across the street from the Embasy of Iraq on Metcalfe St. hollering for freedom in Iraq. Good luck with that folks everyone should have their freedom. Posted by Hello

This little girl is from the rib fest as well, after she finished posing with May May her and her brother helped their dad by bringing out the trophies that they have won over the years. Poor May May wanted to get back there so bad, if the smell of the cooking meat was making me want to eat right away I can just imagine how hard it was for May May.  Posted by Hello

All right people!!! The rib fest is on. Yippee! Here is a young man setting up for the event and I convinced him to take a picture with May May. Will have to call Alexander tonight, I treat him to ribs every year. Can't wait. Posted by Hello
