There was a terrible incident on the other side of the street this morning, a lady was knocked down while a young person was trying to steal her bag. I didn't see it happen but when I heard the lady screaming I turned and happened to see the guy running through the parking lot of the Greek restaurant. I called 911 and both the amblance came as well as these two police officers, I gave a bit of a description of the guy but I did't get a good look so I hope that they can find him. I cerainly hope the lady is ok, she took a bad fall and I know at least her hip was hurt I took a bad fall myself three weeks ago and hurt my hip badly and the pain has been unbearable. Just today I am starting to feel a bit better. I convinced the partners that they should have their picture taken with May May. Thanks for doing a good job and trying to keep our streets safe and give us a shout if you see us on the street,
The guards returning from the changing of the guards ceremony on Parliament Hill.

Well May May and Ellis were quite surprised to see a cat on the leash in the park! The cat didn't seem too perturbed by the enounter and May May is used to cats as we have two here who toment her on a daily basis. It is glad to see all the people back in the park, the weather was so cold for so long.

Great picture of a mom and her new baby!
Now its been so long since I took this picture that I forget both their names but they come to the park on a regular basis.
This is Maggie who lives down the hall from me with her twins Rita and Eli, they are almost a year old now. They sure keep their mom busy!
Two pictures from our open house of "Scattered Minds". Heather is in the background working on a drawing while Dorothy looks at one of the bags I had made. That is three of my water colours on the easel. The show went so well I was so proud of everybody and all the art that they created. In the picture below is Lisa tending her table some of my work is on their as well. Lisa did a great job of setting up the room and basically taking over all the organization since I was not feeling well.

Wendy is holding a quilt that was at the doll show, it is three layers thick and you can see the frayed ends sticking out well apparently after the quilt gets washed a few times it gets very, very soft and very comfortable to cuddle up in.

More dolls at the doll show.

Wendy took me to the altered doll show at Algonquin College and these are some of the excellent dolls that were there. I ended up buying a small piece of fabric and some lovely bows in hopes of making a small doll.

Two girls that work in the shop called Exile, not quite sure what they do but they have a library and free access to the internet I am assuming for the street people. Bought a few pieces of fabric to make some purses from, will post them when I get them done.
Two more exhibitors at the altered art show.

Lisa and I went to an altered art show at the National Library and had a nice long chat with this woman, we just loved her work. Hopefully some day we can get her in to do a demonstration in the Scattered Minds Art Studio.

These young ladies were out on the town celebrating the end of school and they just had to sit and have a pet with May May. Hope their time in university goes well for them.
This is one of the cats that live up near Lisa's house and they always come out to see the dogs, here she is "hiding" in a bush probably waiting for the right time to pounce!
The moochers on Bank Street! Notice how Lisa is trying to ignore them, a hard feat to do when you are trying to eatjunk food like McDonalds. We finally gave them a few pieces and they were happy. Lisa had the day off and we decided to treat ourselves to naughty lunch.
