I thought this was the cutest thing when I passed by. They were very friendly but a bit skittish definately not guard dogs. Beautiful animals.

The car they had on display in the lobby at Grease, "Greased Lightning". The show was fantastic and the music brought back so many memories. Loved the way the guys dressed back then, black leather jackets and jeans. Also loved their hair, duck tails and a lot of brylcreem, a little dab will do you!
While walking around the neighbourhood looking for apartments for rent for Lisa I ran across this old sign of Bell Canada. I love old things.

This is my art work as it was displayed at art in the park. I was fortunate enough to sell a few pieces of my work. That is always such a good feeling! Thank you everyone who bought something.
The wonderful art work of Scattered Mind's Vice President Justy!

This is the art work of our novice painter Heather. I love the penguins!

The wonder tile work of Anne Marie, I just love the necklace I got from her and we gave one of her necklaces to Lorraine for helping out.

While admiring these mushrooms I place a plastic from that had fallen from our sign, it just seemed to be at home there. The mushrooms were made by Peter Evanchuck and the lovely artwork above was done by his wifeHelene Lacelle. Lovely work!

This is Kiernan and his dad, I haven't seen him in every so long! When we first met he was very small and his dad was trying to get him to walk, we used May May as bait and I stayed just a little bit in front of him so he would walk to catch up to us. He has gotten so big! It was wonderful to see both of you again, hope I run into you again when May May is with me. Good luck at school in September Kiernan and good luck going back to work!
Here is Anne Marie taking a well deserved rest and enjoying the sun when it finally came out!

This very friendly cat came to the park early and stayed most of the day just wandering around socializing with everyone! I think he may have been an undercover art critic because here he is perched trying to get a close looks at one of the pieces of art. Unfortunatley I lost the card of the artist whose booth he was in. Doesn't he look like Chance? Just a bit bigger!

Now here is Maggie taking a nap with one of my hats, I wonder what they like about my hats so much! They sure look adorable when they are in them!

We had a bad start to our day in art in the park. We loaded the cars in a torrential rain storm and finally it stopped and Lisa and Heather started setting things up. Once everything was up it rained on and off for quite some time and then the winds picked up and knocked our art to the ground. By noon the sun was shining and the people finally started to arrive. Just as we were packing up the rain started again. It was quite the experience for our first exhibition but we were quite happy but very, very tired at the end.

Chance just loves it when one of my hats falls on the floor and he immediately gets in it and makes a bed out of it.

For two days in a row they were handing out free Dr. Pepper soft drinks and I managed to get one for Justy and myself each day. This was the girl handing them out on the second day and she had to stop and say hi to May May because she also has a little pom at home.

Note to Pascal. Somehow I lost the pictures of Canada Day that you sent me, do you think that you could resend them so that I can post them on my blog for others to see? Thanks!

Here is my little friend Anthony, we met last year and he and May May have been best friends ever since. Now Anthony likes to take May May's leash and take her for a little walk, the other day for the first time May May went with him all by herself without me, I think that is a first! Anthony is just the cutest little boy and he has the greatest dad! Every kid should be so lucky! See you in the park Anthony!

On Thursday night Lisa and I went to the Blink Art Gallery at Major Hill's Park, on the way out of the park we came across this beautiful turtle. He was a bit frightened and was going very fast for a turtle and Lisa had to come to the rescue to get some of the pictures before he ended up in the flower bed. Sure glad I usually have my camera with me, I love it when I see things like this.

Look at this beautiful girl who wanted to pet May May and Ellis, I love her little pony tails and her baggy bloomers! She is just so adorable and the dogs just loved her.
Darn that Maggie! Every time I have a glass of milk she is up there stealing it off of me. The least she could do is wait for me to be almost finished!
Here is a sweet young thing petting May May, look at her beautiful eyes!

This young lady was performing on Sparks Street mall, not sure what tune she was dancing too but all the men seemed to like it!

I took many pictures of the Snow Birds but they went so fast that they showed up in only one photo!
A video of the Snow Birds! What a beautiful sight!
While we were waiting for the Snow Birds to go over we seen this beautiful large dog.
May May is looking anxiously at these ladies hotdogs! Finally they could no longer withstand May May's stares and gave her a piece of their hot dogs!
A beautiful little girl making May May happy on Canada Day.
This is the place we finally chose to have our ribs, we figured the people working there were so happy and having so much fun that the ribs just had to be good and they were!
This is an artist who was drawing in chalk on the sidewalk at the ribfest, at one point it started to pour and he had to scurry to put plastic over the drawing, too bad it finally disappears. Great work!
This is one of the places where they made ribs at the ribfest, I loved the sign!
