Well I promised myself I would update my blog before the new year and I did it with 20 minutes to spare. I hope everyone will have a wonderful year in 2010. I certainly hope I have a healthier one. Will post again when new pictures are available.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!!!!!

I went to my friend Jeanne`s house on the 27th to celebrate the season and the birthday of the woman in pink, (oops forgot her name. It was a wonderful meal and a wonderful visit. Jeanne is on the right and Francois is on the left.
My daughter Shannon with May May and Chance under the Christmas tree. It was wonderful to have a visit from her and hope I see more of her in the new year.

My two little girls from upstairs. Haven't they got the most beautiful smile? And they are always smiling. I went up to see them Christmas morning to watch them open their gifts, what fun that was. Oh to have the excitement of a child on Christmas morning again!

Dani and May May. Dani painted my apartment last year and in the new year he is going to replace the bathroom tiles for me. He is a great guy and a very hard worker, he started his own painting company and is attending university. See you soon Dani!

Our wonderful art group "Scattered Minds" celebrating Christmas at an Indian restaurant. In front is Joanne, Katey, Anne Marie. In the back is Justy and her mom Olga. We had a very good year and I just know we are going to be even more successful in 2010.

Chance helping my pcw put up the tree. Yup he is a big help, Carolyn puts them up and Chance knocks them down.

May May helping her Nana. The modern day panhandler brings their own props!

May May and I as we were looking for a good spot to watch the parade from. Poor May May kept slipping off I had so many layers of clothes on that she kept slipping off. She was so glad when it was over and she could get down and walk. It was a long time for her and she went right to bed when she got home, probably dreaming of what Santa Claus was going to bring her on Christmas.

This is Jack, he was watching with the parade with us but he missed quite a bit of the parade because he kept having to come back and give May May a kiss! May May felt so lucky. Hope you had a geat time Jack.
This is Mikala (sorry I know that is spelt wrong) who spent quite a bit of time chatting with May May and me while we were waiting for the parade to start. She has this lovely lucky rock that she carries with her and she let me hold it for a little while. Thanks so much. Don't forget you promised to send me a comment when you see this picture!
This is Grace who we met at the Santa Claus Parade she was very reluctant at first to have her picture taken but May May finally convinced her. Thanks Grace!

Some of the floats from the Santa Claus parade.

Chance taking a much needed rest after all that intellectual work of figuring out the pattern for me, he is now helping me play a compuer game. What would I do without all his help!
Chance looking over my pattern and instructions, he tries so hard to be helpful!
May May surveying the mess that Chance made with my craft supplies. He loves to rustle around in plastic bags and I should know better than to leave a bag full of stuff on the floor. Can you relate Katey?
May May's boyfriend Scooter with a styling new coat. Glad to see you are keeping warm Scoot!
Finally we get a picture taken with Beverly, don't know what has taken so long. Beverly lives up the street from us and we meet on the street all the time.

Mario and Jossee having coffee with May May.

Dr Haughton took this picture of me and May May and I think I might just use it for the Christmas cards this year. Great work! Thank you.

I used the tree at my chiropractors office as a backdrop for the pictures of May May for her Christmas cards, now I have just have to choose one for the cards this year.
Ah my wonderful Dr. Derek Haughton, he has made such a change in my life. Without him I wouldn't be doing all the sewing that I am doing and I didn't even realize how much I missed it till I started again. Thank you so much for making my life much less painful and May May thanks you as well as she gets out for much more and longer walks. If any one is suffering needlessly get in to the office and see either one of the doctors and you will be very thankful. Thanks so much Dr. Haughton!
Dianne works part time at the Chiropractic office and she very generously gave me some stuffing for me to make the toys for the angel tree. Thank you Dianne!

This is Myra who works in the Chiropractic Office with all the others. She was helping with my knitting earlier this fall and now I have to get it finished. May May loves to visit with Myra.
This is Dr. Payne who also gladly posed with May May under the tree at the chiropractic office.
This is one of Dr. Haughton's patients who decided to have her picture taken with May May. She was a pretty busy little model today.
This is Beth Anne she came to say hello to both of us, you will remember her from a picture on the blog in the summer. She just went on a great trip to England and Ireland, would love to see some of your pictures. Have a Merry Christmas Beth Anne!
Two officers were walking the beat down Sparks Street and I asked them to have their picture taken with May May. I didn't get time to adjust May May's hat.
I took a picture of the radio announcers at work at CBC.

Some of the stuffed toys I am making for the Angel Tree.

Seen this outside of the CBC building it is a portable camp called a Yurt from Mongolia, this size costs about $12,000. I have the folder if anyone thinks they want to buy one!

One morning after I got out of bed May May decided she would snuggle under the blankets and have a little longer rest.

Jeanne and I on the Otrain going to South Keys. It was her first trip and she was really excited. She kept asking where do we get the Otrain, I was expecting her to say "Are we there yet!" It was nice for her to get to the different stores in her scooter I think she really enjoyed it. Now she knows the way she is able to go whenever she likes. Have fun Jeanne!

May May in front of a Christmas character on Sparks Street mall. Not sure what he is supposed to be exactly but he is very festive. I am taking May May's picture at different places and then going to pick one or two to make Christmas cards out of them. Have a favourite? Let me know.
In front of a big tree.
May May in front of a collection of trees, I liked that one of them was the same size as her!
May May and I in front of a few nice trees, a nice young security guard offered to take our picture. Thank you so much. I am not in many pictures on my blog.
Maggie the model! Here she is modeling one of the dog's hats that I make. I think she is adorable!

A young lady who stopped to give May May a much needed petting.
These four young cadets were at the War Museum on Remembrance Day, if only more young men were as polite as these four. Thanks for taking a moment out of your day and letting me take your picture.
May May trying very hard to get some of Marek's lunch but was very disappointed when she found out he was only eating bread! No meat, no cheese, nothing just bread!
