More culinary friends

Wow, May May has obtained more culinary friends and they say that they drop lots of food on the floor, now she is just waiting for an invite into their kitchen. These are chefs from the Rideau Club on Bank Street having a very well earned rest on a wonderful day. Just remember May May likes her steak any old way and I like mine well done! Posted by Picasa

Some of the youth street people that are mourning the death of their friend Cactus. Posted by Picasa
This was taken at the memorial for the young panhandler that was stabbed to death last week. It is the underpass going from Elgin to the Rideau Centre. Posted by Picasa
This is Scooter's grandma Shirley. I think May May wants to be adopted by Shirley too, she always has treats for the two dogs. I will have to get a picture of her with Scooter as well. She is very good to them. Posted by Picasa
Yesterday a Suiss Chef, today a waitress! May May is getting all her bases covered. What she won't do for food. Posted by Picasa
Another waitress at the outdoor cafe on Sparks Street. Posted by Picasa

May May waits patiently

While going into the Supreme Cafe for a sandwich, May May waits ever so patiently at the door, she just wants to come in and see if anyone has dropped anything on the floor. Posted by Picasa
Here is Sindy with Sparky, she thought he wasn't a real dog just someone who dressed like a dog. But no way, his handler said he was a "real dog". Posted by Picasa

Hold on there May May !

While out at a community garage sale we ran in to Sparky the Fire Station dog, I guess he thought May May was one of his lost puppies because he took her from me and held her tight. May May is not quite sure what the heck is going on here. Nice work Sparky thank you for the pencil! Posted by Picasa

Meet May May's newest best friend

Wow! May May's dream has come true, she has met a man who cooks for a living, well its kinda my dream too. May May would love to go to work with him to see how much he drops on the floor, hopefully a lot of good stuff. He is by the way the Executive Souis Chef at the Delta Hotel. Wonder if they give out 2 for one coupons? Posted by Picasa

Stephane

Hope I spelled that right, I don't have a french keyboard so I can't put the accent in. Stephane is one of May May's friends who panhandles down on Sparks St., he also works part time which is good. Keep behaving Stephane. Posted by Picasa

Sidney

Here is Sidney, he is one of the newest members of my apartment building and is now a regular at the Dundonald Park. I tried very hard to get a picture of them together but this is the closest I managed to get. When both of them are in the lobby we have to give them a few minutes to play with each other. May May is very timid around dogs that are smaller then her so pretty soon Sidney will realize this and the fun will begin. Posted by Picasa

Sumo

This is Sumo! I like Sumo because Sumo likes me. He sure is an active puppy, she likes to run around and jump at things. He was sure happy the other day because his female people person was coming home after a six weeks absence. Sure glad everyone is happy now. I remember those long times away from my younger years, they were hard to endure. Posted by Picasa

Janey and May May

Here May May is with her favourite friend Janey. Janey was over for supper tonight and decided to come up to the park with us. Afterwards we stopped off at McDonalds to get an ice cream cone while we walked Jane to her bus stop. Yummy! Posted by Picasa

Cokette

Cokette your fur is growing back in so nice. You are starting to look like your old self again. Posted by Picasa

Jasmine

We met Jasmine for the first time and she just had knee surgery! Poor thing, I know exactly what that feels like as I have had more than one surgeries on my knee, it hurts. She is walking very well for only having the surgery a few days ago, but you can see that she is protecting it. She is also licking the incision a lot, I am sure it really aggravates her as it heals. Good luck Jasmine, tell Dad to take very good care of that knee for you. Posted by Picasa

Tai Chi in the park

I think that is what this is called. These people come everyday to the park to do this. Very interesting to watch. Posted by Picasa

Meet Justice

May May and I met Justice last night and what a sweet little thing she is. I just know she is going to be an artist and a trend setter when she grows up because she is starting a trend wearing one red sock and one black sock. So everyone go and get a pair just like her! This is her dad and they have the new shoe store on Bank Street called Obsession. All the shoes I can't wear and want to. If there is another life I don't care about anything else as long as I can wear those shoes! Hope to see you again Justice. Posted by Picasa
A cute little dauchshound we seen on our walk last night. She is just like the one I had as a teenager, her name was Queenie, she was a great dog. Posted by Picasa

Art in the Park

This is not really a park but a field adjacent to the old Ottawa Technical Highschool were young people go to play basketball and people take their dogs for a walk. At one time these walls were filled with graphitti but now they contain beautiful art works. Imagine shooting hoops next to these, I would be totally destracted. Just amazing work. Posted by Picasa
