Pictures from Cartier Square Co-op BBQ.  It was a wonderful time, with great food.  Thanks to all that organzied it, did all the hard work and prepared all the delicious food.  Hope this becomes a yearly thing.

A beautiful 8 week old Siberian Husky.  Don't think he will be holding him in his arms like that for very long.  The puppy had the most beautiful eyes.  Have loads of fun with your pup.
A beautiful new mural on the wall down by Wilde's celebrating the start of Gay Pride.
Met this young man as he was having a coffee on Bank Street.  He is from Peterborough and was staying with a friend in Ottawa and taking a nice walking tour.  Hope he enjoyed his tour.

This guy was in the park with a buddy of his and they were playing the mandolin and guitar.  They started to sing a song about May May and I certainly hope they have a finished song the next time I see them.  Here he is trying to teach May May the xylaphone but May May wasn't too interested in that. He also invited me to go with them to Babylon to dance to 80's tune.  Guess they missed the fact that I was in the wheelchair.  Thanks guys for the enjoyable afternoon.
This family often stops to pet May May in the park.  As you can see May May just loves the attention!
This young lady was handing out 50% discount for Porter airlines.  Although she works in marketing for Porter she was portraying a stewardess to give out the flyers.  Ah wouldn't it be great to be a stewardess and I can't wait for the new show to start about them in the 60's.

Anna decided she wanted pictures of our hands, and I thought that was a wonderful idea.

Here I am with Anna and Annika, it was Anna's birthday in August and I got her a lovely jewelery box which she was longing for.  Their mom and dad made me a beautiful supper and I loved their new home.  I just love how the girls are always smiling.
This truck was riding down Bank Street and just loved the dogs in the back of the truck.  They sure seemed to enjoy their ride.
We often stop to talk to this lady and in all the years it was the first time I took her picture.  She doesn't have a computer but hopefully she will get to see her daughter soon and use her computer.
Here is a dog that was in this years Pride Parade, he was dyed purple!  So cute.  I was very glad to see the school board participating in this years parade.

May May and I went up to see the memorial for Jack Layton. We watched as his hearse was driving away and then took a picture of the flag at half mast. Jack you will missed.

Love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we will change the world. Jack Layton.
This is Marek's son who fell in love with May May immediately. He is such a cutie, seems like yesterday he was just a toddler and now he is in grade 4. He was reading a really good book called "The diary of a wimpy kid". Enjoy!

The lady who works down the street just got back from vacation and May May was very excited to see her.

While sitting in the park yesterday I thought I was being watched and sure enough a gentlemen was taking my picture and then when Mike and Sue showed up he also took pictures of them and all the dogs. Thank you very much for taking the pictures. I wish someone would have told me my hat was on almost backwards!

Had to go to Preston Hardware one day last week so we stopped in to see our old friend Darrel, he was very impressed with May May's weight loss. It was nice to see you again and hope your sidewalk sale went well.

I put May May's hat on Maggie and she was not impressed!
Funny sign in front of Justy's office on Elgin Street.

Danial and May May in the park. We are going to miss him and Emile as they are moving soon.
Darn, it is always the nice ones that move. We will miss you.

Seen these flowers on the way home and especially liked the striped flowers.

Art in the park at Strathcona Park. It was a very hot day for all the vendors there, they had some beautiful art. A shot of people walking across the river, that area is always quite low but due to the lack of rain it was especially low.

This dog was having a delightful time swimming in the river fetching the ball that was being thrown to him.

While at Strathcona Park last Sat, I took pictures of the lovely ducks that were so abundant. As you can see they came very close to the people.

Very proud new grandparents! They are just beaming all the time. Their new granddaughter is called Clara, what a beautiful old fashioned name. Bubba decided he had to get up and be in the picture too. Bubba is moving and we are going to miss him and his mom.

While at the park the other day this group of young people were making a musical video for their website, they brought along their dog who took great interest in May May. I hope they look at this and then let me know where I can find their website I would love to see it.

Chance trying to raid the treats cupboard, she managed to get the container of cat nip down but she couldn't get it open.
