Here May May is with the owner of Justine's, a clothing store on Sussex Drive. I got in there periodically to drool over the hats they have on display. She has a dauchshound who goes by the name of Frances. may May would sure like to meet her someday. Posted by Picasa

Well this young lady looks like she is totally in love with May May. We wandered into her little shop and just loved it there. The bag I want to buy is in the background, I won't say which one because someone will run down and buy it on me. The shop is "SoHo Betty Boutique" at 238 Dalhousie Street. It sells Unique clothing and accessories. You should stop by for a look it is really nice. Posted by Picasa

Marek and Mattie. Isn't he just a sweetie? He is so shy and he sure loves his daddy. Mattie wasn't feeling well so he came to work with Daddy, another custodian in training.  Posted by Picasa

Here is a picture that had been saved in the wrong place and didn't get posted to the blog. It was taken earlier in September. Hope I haven't missed too many others. Posted by Picasa

For the person who left me a message

Just a note to the person who left me a message that I didn't publish their picture, I think I have found it on my hard drive, why it isn't in the proper place is beyond me. I am attempting to publish it but am having some difficulty so please be patient. I will check to make sure there are no other forgotten pictures. Thanks for looking at the blog and leaving me a note. Joanne

Well all all the powers of Parliament Hill just standing around, do they do this often? When I seen them all there I was under the impression that they were going to give a small speech but they didn't so I am glad I got this shot of them. Poor Jack Layton got cut off from the post. Darn I was hoping to get a picture of them with May May. If any of you guys see this, make sure you stop me next time you see us on the hill, you just have to get your picture taken with May May. Posted by Picasa

Got this shot of Paul Martin as he was heading off to flip some burgers. Posted by Picasa

Now this guy told me his name and I can't remember now, seems to me he was talking to a reporter but stopped to take a picture with May May. May May was so comfortable in his hards she stayed like this for several minutes, thought for a minute he might not give her back to me. He made a mock move of leaving with her but no way, May May belongs with me. Posted by Picasa

Today there was a BBQ on the hill to raise funds for the hurricane disaster in the States. here is oen of the guards with May May. He has a little toy pom at home. Posted by Picasa

One of the guys who sits on the bench at the park, May May was a little bit bored so just walked over to get a little bit of petting from him. Posted by Picasa

May May with two of the volunteers at the May Court Bargain Box, my absolute favourite second hand store in Ottawa. While there I got a pair of slacks and a dark red carnation for May May to wear around her neck. She looks so pretty with it as you will see in upcoming photos. Posted by Picasa

May May is so helpful, here she is helping a student from U of O with her homework. It was such a beautiful day on the lawns of Tabaret Hall. I am sure this girl will get great marks now that she has been tutored by May May. Posted by Picasa

Ottawa of University students on the steps of Tabaret Hall with May May. Seems wierd but when i worked at the university these kids weren't even thought about. I left there in 1979. Posted by Picasa

May May with one of the guards with the bear skin hats, I have been waiting a long time to get one of these pictures. Today I actually had to run after them and one guy without the hat went in to get someone to come out and pose with May May. They had a busy day today with the signing in of the new GG. Posted by Picasa

The lost child - 1989 by David Ruben-Piq0ukun, 1950. It is the experience of the artist as a small child visiting Edmonton with is over whelming urban skyline. He states: "We have all been lost at some time in our lives." It is too bad I couldn't capure the height of the back rock, it actually does resemble a high rise. Posted by Picasa

The Dorthy McConnell mionument to anti-poverty activism. This monument is dedicated to those in our community who work to end poverty. It is on the lawn of the old school house at city hall. Posted by Picasa
