May May gives her Nana a kiss. We stop and talk to this panhandler everyday and May May has to get a kiss from her.

May May and her friend Callie. Callie drives May May crazy by always licking in her ears. She goes non stop and never breaks. May May gets frantic after awhile so I will hold Callie and then she does it to me. Yuck.

This is Sparky in his new coat, his mom Julie and May May.

This is Sparky, May May's friend modelling the winter coat I made for her. His eyes were closed and its hard to make out his face, just the grey hairs on his snout show up from all the black.

This was taken on Boxing day and it was such a balmy day, the birds were just resting in the trees and they looked so peaceful. They were enjoying the spring weather as well.

Snow finally came to Ottawa! The other day we got a sprinkling but today we got a real dumping. It was the wierdest winter I have experienced it was like spring for Christmas. We always see this little girl and her brother in the park and she was trying very hard to tell May May that she had to wear boots when it was cold and snowing out, but May May just sat there with that look on her face.

This is May May just before Christmas with the girl from CBC. Moira is a great animal lover, has two dogs of her own and takes in strays or endangered dogs and finds them new homes. May May loves to see her.

He's back!!!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh that seemed like a really long year. Alex went out to BC to spend a year with his dad and I missed him so much. He needed time to spend with his other family on a day to day basis. When he came back I couldn't believe the changes, he has grown so much. When he left he was a little boy and now he is a young man and he will only be 13 in November. He gave me the biggest hug when he came up, those are what i missed the most, he is my best medicine. Looking forward to spending time with him if he can tear himself away from his friends. I must remember to call him Alex as he requested and not Alexander as I prefer. Posted by Picasa
Although Alex was gone for such a long time May May didn't forget him. He was so excited when he showed up and was just so happy to be in his lap. Posted by Picasa
Alex and his mom. The resemblance goes from me to Shannon to Alex. Thank goodness they got their height from my ex. Posted by Picasa
Shannon and Mom. She got her beautiful genes from me. When she was born a friend of mine said "Oh, a little Joanne"! Posted by Picasa
Sindy took this picture of May May. As soon as Sindy came down the other night for me to babysit her May May ran to Sindy's bed waiting for her. May May is not happy at night until everyone is in bed and then everything is right with the world. Posted by Picasa

First ice cream cone

This little boy is 18 months old and enjoying his first ice cream cone on the Sparks Street mall on a very hot day. I think there was more on his face and clothes than in his mouth but he was enjoying it anyway. Many more cones to come sweetie! Posted by Picasa
Look at these two cuties excited over May May. Their mother had a hard time getting them to leave and continue on their way. Thanks for stopping and talking to May May girls! Posted by Picasa
May May should be declared official greeter of Ottawa. These people had just sat down and she went right over to them to say hi and get a pet. Posted by Picasa

Trees in the city

While leaving IKEA and going to the bus stop I saw these trees in an otherwise concrete jungle. They were so pretty. Posted by Picasa

Guy on the bus

This guy got on the bus the same time I did, it was a very hot day and he wore many layers of clothes and scarfs. It was like he was staring at me all the time but I couldn't tell for sure because he had sunglasses on. Every once in a while he would break out in a little dance while he was listening to his walkman. Posted by Picasa

Bad, bad, bad Maggie Muggins

Well doesn't Maggie look smug? And so she should. Right where she is resting there used to be a ceramic dog that I had made like 25 years ago when I had my ceramic studio. I worked so hard on that dog, it was air brushed and looked just like the dog I had when I was a teenager. Maggie decide she wanted to sit on that high perch to look over her kingdom and down the dog came in hundreds of pieces with no chance of repair. GRRR!!! What next is she going to do? Posted by Picasa
