I think this is the shot of the Monarch Butterfly that Erica took, she was able to get up nice and close. Thanks Erica and good luck in your new home in the country. 

The pictures of the monarch butterfly were taken while a few of us were just there to give "the friends of Dundonald Park" some encouragement while they were doing there fall cleanup.

Here is one of the trees in our local park, we are about a week late for the trees turning colours because of that nice warm spell we had a week or so ago. 

Here is Maggie in one of her favourite spots. On top of the monitor blocking my view and sometimes trying to catch the cursor as I do different things on the computer. She occasionally turns her head upside down to get my attention, as if she doesn't have it already!

This poor Santa was going to go out in the trash, and I had the sleigh at home always meaning to do something with it but never did. Took them in to the Good Companions and our Santa expert, Pat fancied them up and now they look terrific. Santa's hat is actually made out of mink. If you want a great decoration for your house this will be raffled off and the tickets are 50 cents each or 3 for $1.00. The Christmas bazaar will be on the first Sat. in December at the Good Companions on Albert Street. They have some pretty good stuff there. 

A shot of the firemen as they were attending to the calls at the building across the street, they ended up being called five times over the weekend and only one call, the last one being legitimate. 

Here are the three pomeranians who frequent the park. From left to right, May May, Ellis and Cokette. All quite different and all quite beautiful. 

My friend Lorraine finally came up and got her picture taken with May May for her blog. We were going out for Thanksgiving dinner at a local restaurant, no washing up required, love it. May May has on her new little coat I made her, it is just light weight fleece good for the weather right now. I love the hood on it. Thanks Lorraine for coming up. 

This is what I woke up to this morning! Last night I left the pantry door open and Maggie got into it and took out her catnip, those little black spots on the floor are the remaining evidence. She was really having a party the cellophane was all over, the label was ripped to shreds, and she didn't even invite me or May May. What a party girl, my Maggie. 

I took this picture of firetrucks that had been called to the building across the street for the third time already this weekend. Can't see the truck at all, but the lights turned out kinda cool. 

This is a picture of the Parliament Library that is under construction, the light roll near the top is the copper that will be the roof, after it has been left out in the air and elements, it will turn green.

It was a dreary day today, but there were a few people up at Parliamnent hill. Here is a squirrel running away, they go off into the fenced area where the cats are. The man that looks after them has the squirrels trained to take a peanut out of his ear! 

The little black pom just arrived at the park and the meet and greet committee had to go and welcome him. So that is 3 poms and a mix. 

Here she is again. It was hard to get a picture she just wouldn't sit still.  

Here is a nice little puppy we met on our walk last night. Darn and I forget her name. 

My pretty May May, she had a bath on Monday so now her fur is extra soft and fluffy. 

This is a memorial in a small park on Elgin Street. It is to honour and to grieve all women abused and murdered by men. Each small stone around the big one represents a woman that has been murdered. There will be another one added soon even though we haven't found her killer yet. It is so sad that we even have to have this memorial.
