The marching band for the Changing of the Guards returning to the Drill Hall.

The tomb of the unknown soldier at the cenotaph is now being guarded since the incident on New Years when drunken people decided to urinate on the wall. Some people have no respect or thankfulness for what those men and women endured to give us a safe place to live.

Wjile over at Jeanne's house Cokette went down for a sleep and when she woke up she stood in the bedroom doorway and just stared at me for a long time, don't know what was on her mind.

While over at Jeanne's we order a pizza and May May decided to store her pizza crusts on my hat, I guess she thought it looked like a plate!

This girl was busking on the Sparks Street mall when May May wandered over to her. She is trying to save enough money to put out a CD. Good luck to you.
Gosh it took me a long time to put up these last few posts.

This is Hillary, she was the property manager at 240 Sparks and she retired on June 29. Thank you Hillary for all your help and have a great time caring for all those dogs that will come to your kennel. We will miss you

This is Gail from Pharma Plus, she retired from behind the pharmacy counter on June 29. We will miss you Gail, its going take me a while to train someone new. Have a great time with your grandchildren.

This is a fairly new guy that is out panning these days. He sits near McDonalds so he minds May May while I go in to get my coffee. He seems like a very nice guy, I just wish there was more help out there for these kids.

Took this shot of the Canada Day stage as I can never get close to it on Canada Da, just too many people.

The guard knelt down to have his picture taken with May May. I tried to get him to pick him up like I had one of them do before but he said no he couldn't do that because of the uniform. Darn, somedays I have charm and some days I don't!

Two youngsters having their lunch at the eternal flame. Thankfully they were working on it that day and the flame wasn't on or they would have sweltered.

Here is the CBC broadcasting booth on Parliament Hill.
These two officers were in charge of traffic on a now empty street. While they were waiting for word to open up the street again I took the opportunity to have them pose with May May. The male officer seemed awfully shy to have his picture taken, don't think anyone would recognize either of them with al their equipment on. Thanks guys for taking the time.

This lady was sitting on some steps along the protest march route, she spent a lot of time with May May and May May was ever so pleased. Thanks for all the attention you gave her, she just loves it.

This young native girl was standing along the sidelines with her family when she showed an interest in May May. She only had a minute to pet May May as they all had to leave to join the march. Isn't she just a beautiful girl! Hope you had a good time.

Along the route of the Native protest march a young girl was being interviewed. Wonder what her comments were?

This is the protest march put on by the natives last week. They had gone up Elgin and then down Wellington to Victoria Island. Also that day parts of the 401 were shut down and the CNN had to cancel all trains to Toronto as they had put a schoolbus across the tracks.

I met Jude coming home from the park last week and what an interesting fellow he is. Don't you just love his hat! It suits his personality perfectly. Jude is home schooled and does not fit into a neat and tidy little pigeon hole that they make you conform to in school. We had quite the chat while he was petting May May and I hope he keeps on being so unique. Hope we meet up again soon Jude!

A firetruck in front of the old Synagogue.

There was a fire at the old Synagogue next to the park. The firemen were digging on the top deck and there was quite a bit of smoke. Spoke to one of the girls that lived there but she was away that day and didn't even know it happened.
