Maggie on catnip
This is Linda my new personal care worker. She is absolutely amazing and what she is doing for me in the apartment is just wonderful. It was a long wait to get someone as good as her and now that I have found her they will have to fight me to my death if they try to take her away. Thank you Linda you are a lifesaver.
Wow, this sure is a tight squeeze. Wonder if I will be able to escape from inside this dresser drawer? You think mom could have left it open a little bit wider for me, she knew Iwas going to hide in here.
Almost there!
Peek-a-boo
Winterlude skaters on the world's longest ice rink, the Rideau Canal.
This is me and May May at Winterlude in front of one of the many beautiful ice sculptures. May May lost her hat that is on her in this picture and it was my favourite one for her. I will have to try and get another one for her. The original use of said hat was a collar for a wine bottle so I suppose I should head out to the wine store to see if they have any.

What a big snow globe!! This is where J.J. Clarke of CJOH news will do his weather forecast for the duration of winterlude. It was such a nice day to be out yesterday and today looks the same unfortunately I am housebound today. On the way home I got a flat tire and the mechanism that makes the electric chair go was giving me way too many problems. When I stop it won't start up again and leaves me stranded there for five or ten minutes so I can't risk going out today. Why do these things always happen on the weekend? This damn chair is the chair from hell and has been giving me problems since the day I got it. I have the manufacturer involved now and hopefully something will be done. I want a new reliable chair which I can feel safe in. Why couldn't it break down last week when it so darn cold.
Windterlude is here and the weather yesterday was wonderful to go and check out all the activities. These two just loved May May and were happy to have their picture taken. I think the little girls name is Katie but I didn't get her brothers name but he sure is a cutie. May May just loves the attention she gets a these special events.
Maggie and May May sit in this chair which is behind my computer chair whenever I am at the computer. When I get up and go somewhere else I have these two following me, if they had their way I would be in bed 24 hours a day somehow they think all is well with the world if we are in bed. May May sleeps at my feet and Maggie sleeps on me. Love them both to bits.
Now doesn't she look good after her bath? It was all worth it because she got to have some of the special treats she got for Christmas. She really likes the chocolate ones, they are made from carob and not chocolate so they are safe for dogs to eat. She will keep a piece so that she can guard it from Maggie, she has a very scarry growl when anyone goes near her bones.
Poor May May doesn't look too happy. It was very cold last week and we couldn't get out so I took the opportunity of giving her a bath. She doesn't like taking a bath but she stays still and doesn't run away.

May May gives her Nana a kiss. We stop and talk to this panhandler everyday and May May has to get a kiss from her.
May May and her friend Callie. Callie drives May May crazy by always licking in her ears. She goes non stop and never breaks. May May gets frantic after awhile so I will hold Callie and then she does it to me. Yuck.
This is Sparky in his new coat, his mom Julie and May May.
This is Sparky, May May's friend modelling the winter coat I made for her. His eyes were closed and its hard to make out his face, just the grey hairs on his snout show up from all the black.
This was taken on Boxing day and it was such a balmy day, the birds were just resting in the trees and they looked so peaceful. They were enjoying the spring weather as well.
Snow finally came to Ottawa! The other day we got a sprinkling but today we got a real dumping. It was the wierdest winter I have experienced it was like spring for Christmas. We always see this little girl and her brother in the park and she was trying very hard to tell May May that she had to wear boots when it was cold and snowing out, but May May just sat there with that look on her face.

This is May May just before Christmas with the girl from CBC. Moira is a great animal lover, has two dogs of her own and takes in strays or endangered dogs and finds them new homes. May May loves to see her.
