Two new dogs at the park

Spring is back, and we are all out at the park again. May May is enjoying seeing her old friends and new ones like these two. Here we go again trying to remember all their names. 

Two sisters

Met these two cute sisters at Parliament Hill, the older one started bugging her mom to get a dog and the younger one was just flitting about like a butterfly. I noticed she had on a beautiful gown underneath her coat and I asked if she was Cinderella and she said yes. 

Boy on the hill

I tried to get this little boy to sit near May May so I could take their picture, but he wouldn't stop staring at me, he was totally mesmorized. His parents thought it was very funny as well, I think he was having a hard time figuring out why I was in the wheelchair. He was so cute. 

Spring Lunchtime

Here two government workers take their lunch on Spark Street Mall in the beautiful sunshine and May May decides to join them. She was a bit dissapointed though, their lunch was all gone. 

Maggie watches tv

My goodness Maggie has turned into a tv nut, thats all she does is watch tv these days and gets quite upset should I turn the set off. Here she is sitting atop the computer ready to pounce at something. Her favourite thing on tv is that germ cartoon comercial that gets under your toenail, she goes nuts when that comes on tv. At least she isn't knocking stuff over when she is watching tv. What a crazy girl. 

Bob said Scooter wouldn't wear it - Huh!

Scooter in bunny ears, how cute! He looks quite happy with them but I don't think he would have kept them on very long. Scooter is the most handsomest dog ever, he makes a great boyfriend for May May. 

Dorothy

I had Easter brunch with Dorothy at the Good Companions, she looks pretty good for being in her 80's. 

Avril and May May

May May is so happy, she hasn't seen Avril for a long time and she misses get her little sips of water from her. Here May May has her bunny ears on and her rain coat. Good to see you Avri. 

Parliament Hill Cat Man

This retired gentleman takes care of all the cats at Parliament Hill, he comes in every day no matter what the weather is to make sure that the cats are doing ok. He always talks to May May when he is there. The tourists find that the cats are a pleasant surprise when they visit Parliament Hill.

Sindy sure is getting tall! She is always ready to pose for the camera. 

Spark Street Flats and Lofts

Wow wouldn't I love to live here, right on Sparks Street Mall and all new furniture to boot! Now if I could only dig up the monthly rent. 

Mel and May May

When I ent to the denturist to make an appointment I took May May with and then when I went back for the work I didn't bring May May and Mel was dissspointed because she had brought doggie treats in for her so I had to bring May May back that afternoon. May May thanks you Mel, she ate the treats later. You both took a great picture and hope you enjoy her blog.

A shot of the not so pretty power line on Main Street 

I am always taking shots of the pretty sights of Ottawa, thought I would take a few of the not so pretty things. This is the power station on Main Street, not pretty but necessary I guess. 

I went to visit my friend Jane after my trip to the Riverside hospital last week and forgot how pretty her little cat Peaches is. I had a little lovefest with her, Jane says shed is very old. 

Last week there was a big protest on Parliament Hill by the farmers of Eastern Ontario. May May and I met this mom and her two daughters and stayed and talked with them for quite some time, they are from the Cobden area. Hope things work out for what the farmers are asking for. 

May May going for a walk on a rainy day

This is a video I took of May May, she is in her yellow rain coat and just enjoying being outside. I don't know if on this blog you can play video but his is a short video. I have a new camera and still not certain on how to use everything yet. I lost or had stolen a small bag I kept my digital camera, my regular camera and my prescription sunglasses in and it can't be found anywhere. Being outside in the nicer weather I found I could not be without my digital camera. This time I got a nice strong carrying case to hang around my neck so hopefully nothing drastic will happen again. I was just going to start taking black and white photos with the other one but now that is out. I found that in the winter I couldn't take many pictures, it was cold and May May was usually on my lap everything was just awkward. Hopefully I will stay resonable well and get lots of pictures taken this spring. 

May May is ready!

Well spring is sorta here and May May is out and about again, here she is at the park looking for her boyfriends. My friend Jeanne had taken this picture and added the quote to it. We are glad its getting nicer out there, it was a very long winter. I haven't been well but am feeling a bit better so hopefully its back to blogging.
