Visit with May May as she travels around in downtown Ottawa, meet all her friends both human and canine. Follow the antics of Maggie and Chance as they play at home.
Cara is a young girl who comes to the park and likes to play with May May and Cokette. Last year she made a nice drawing for me, I like it when kids make stuff for me.
Here is a sweetie admiring May May, she is such a pretty little girl. Her older sister was too busy negotiating the price of a popsicle down from five cents to four cents to join in this picture. I had a great day at the Glebe garage sale. Hope everyone made lots of money.
Both May May and I feel a lot better since she got her hair cut. I was worried that she was going to be really fat after the fur came off but not really so most of it was fur.
This little girl was playing with the dogs in the park and decided that they were having so much fun that she would be a dog too. She collected those lovely tulips and then gave them to me, thank you so much.
Sine I moved the counch into the spare room Maggie and May May spend a lot of time on the chair that is right behind me when I sit at the computer. They are never very far away from me at any time. I love them both to pieces.
This is a symbolic representation of the spirit of the Armenian nation carved in rock, a sculptural depiction of the path it has been traveling throughout the ages. It is a stone embodiment of the past, the present and the future of the Armenian people.
These beautiful black/purple tulips were at the war memorial. This is the only place around town that I have seen this colur.

May May sure looks happy here. This young lady just moved here from Toronto with her family and she was telling me she had a pomeranian as well. It was a smaller one and a bit more high strung and sure didn't like the intrusion of those things you call "babies". I hope she keeps looking at the blog with her daughters because I finally got it posted. Maybe I will see her again as she works on Bank Street.
The animals at the petting zoo on Sparks Street Mall.
There was a petting zoo on the Sparks Stree mall yesterday and I took a few pictures but I have to be quick because May May will stick her nose in the fence and a big old honker like this one will come along and try to bite it.
May May getting a treat at Shoppers Drug Mart. May May sure was happy to get out she hadn't been out for three days as I was in bed for that time because of the rain. Sure glad I don't live in England Clare, don't know how I would cope.
One of the girls at Shopper's drugmart giving May May a treat, I am pretty sure her name is Jackie.
The beautiful Pretoria bridge on the Rideau Canal. This bridge is still man operated and people have to come and lift up the bridge when a boat wants to go down the canal to Dows lake.
This is my friend Janey, she is May May's friend too and when she first saw Janey on the canal she almost went crazy. She went into a weird dance and then jumped up and down on Janey and kissed her like there was no tomorrow. Poor Janey kept wiping her face and May May kept kissing.
Another tulip bed at Dows Lake.
Some of the beautiful tulips at Dows Lake. Everyone was getting their pictures in front of them and couldn't find a spot without getting someone in the photo. Dows Lake is a man made lake that they built when they built the Rideau Canal.
What a beautiful tree on the canal. The day we went was quite quiet, it was a week day in the afternoon only a few tourists and somehow quite a few teenagers. Don't think they would skip school to go to the canal but you never know.
